I welcome you to join me and our family as we shift slowly and sweetly into Spring! In the South we had Spring on our doorstep as early as February. But in Maine, Spring creeps in slowly...awakening under remnants of ice and snow...still frosty nights...and brisk chilly days.

However, as the sun stretches and lengthens our days, the ground yawns and thaws inviting the warmth to penetrate its depths. While blade, leaf, and blossom sense the shift to southern breezes, brooks and rivers rush and swell as melting snow brims their banks. Lakes turn from icy white to shimmering, rippling blues. Come join us as we plant seedlings, introduce animal babes to new life on the farm, and eagerly prepare for the bounties and pleasures of our gorgeous warm season in Maine!
