How adorable! I'll never forget carrying my brother's rooster, Henry, around and swinging with him in my lap. One of our neighbors has two chickens that roam our suburban yards. Fortunately, no one has complained. I think we all long for country life and those chickens make us feel a bit closer to the land.

Lovely little girl at your door & (almost) holding a chicken! Don't see much of that in the Dallas area. Nor out HERE either, with the bobcat so freely breaking into chicken houses & cleaning them OUT. Need to send photos of how brazen it is!
