We're off to a sledding party this afternoon. Our neighbors assure us that they have enough snow for it! We really don't at the moment...ever since the 'big melt' we got a couple of weeks ago...just after I took these photos of perfect snow conditions. So we're on hold. The snow shoes are parked...and the XC skis are resting on the rail....waiting...

waiting...for more of this...this white stuff! Those skis in their repose are way more patient than we are. We know our winter wonderland is only for a time. And now is the time!

Thanks Lynn! It IS SO beautiful...we try to enjoy it as much as we can...and I did get one honkin' deep purple bruise! But it's all better now.

Snow's on the forecast for the next few days. We'll see how much we actually get. Did do some downhill skiing, tho, on Valentines Day over on the Pinnacle. Even Asheley was thrilled to be able to stand up and balance! First time for that this season! : D
