We've finally gotten some sunshine on all this new snow. And I got out yesterday to do my first XC skiing this winter. I've been snow shoeing...but I LOVE the skis! The kiddos have great ski tracks all over our yard and into the pasture....packed down and really slick...even a jump or 2! Ya know, I could do this for hours...although I am feeling it in the way-too-sedate muscles today! Gotta work off all that eggnog!

And meet Sally the snow-girl. The girls decided to do their own version of a snow 'person'...OK snowman. How do we not offend anyone here...most especially our snow-girl??

More snow in the forecast...by tomorrow they say. Fine with me. This may just become my favorite time of the year. But don't tell any Mainers that! They might disown me! : D

But you caught it!! LOL!! You're doing better than me...and I'm not Norwegian! I do have some Swedish in me. Just don't ask me to say anything in Swedish, though! Let me know what you're up to, Nina, when you've got a minute...or 10! BTW, I saw YOUR hats that you just knitted up recently on the cover of a craft magazine over here! They called them 'gnome' hats! You're famous!! : D

So the Norwegian gnomes have finally crossed the pond!! Yeah!
But it is not my pattern. It is Raumagarn that sells pattern and yarn. I think norwegian kids have walked around with gnome hats for 15 years now!

Hmmmm...for some 15 years, huh. Well, we're such the 'trend-setters' over here, aren't we?? lol! I'll be sending some news your way, too...I'll take a break from this blanket I've been knitting on furiously for the past few days! Klem!
