Fall Farm Festive 10/16/2009
Last Saturday was the celebration Surprise Party at the Post Farm...and I put on the brakes just at the music part...first and foremost having to show you all the gorgeous decorations and that fantastic spread they put out...including the all-time favorite hand-cranked pumpkin ice cream. YUMMMMM-MY!!! So now lets get to the milling and the music! Cameras were going all over the place. Joe and I got into a 'shooting' fight. He shot me.... So of course, I had to shoot back! I think he won, though. His photo came out much better than mine did! And see that knitted hat I'm holding there? I just finished that one for Mandy's baby Auden. Here's a better look at it... Now what about that music part??? The folk guitarist, a friend of Sarah's husband, was awesome! However, he did have some competition. Little Emma got up on stage and sang, "Shine up my boots"...or something super-adorable along those lines. And Great Grandpa Post sang a wonderful rendition of some old Railroad Engineer Song... BIG APPLAUSE!!!!! Happy 35th Anniversary Harlow & Jan!!! CommentsMargaret Faria Sun, 18 Oct 2009 17:43:30 It looked like a wonderful memorable well planned..kept secret party... wished I could have been there... but other committments kept me from attending. The pictures are great. Mandy and Sarah along with more relatives and friends must have had a great time planning this affair... sure it nice to look back in time to come and reminese of wonderful times that were made. Love to all.. Margaret Lynn Fri, 23 Oct 2009 13:23:22 What a fun Fall party! Just LOVE all the pics! And for your other blogs...the double eggs are just too cute! Once I got some eggs from the Farmer's Market with double yolks - wouldn't that be something if you get some double yolks?! And of coarse your outdoor homeschool is just precious. Your girls are the sweetest! Sun, 25 Oct 2009 18:02:49 Oooh! Double yolks! Now that would've been the perfect outcome for "Day Deux!" Leave a Reply |
