The 3 rules of real estate: Location, location, location...THE primo consideration for all real estate...including plots for playhouses! Just ask the Romantic Mom...she knows all about prime real estate....especially for playhouses!

And so did my friend, Karyn, who really needed the big oak tree behind the playhouse freed up for large wooden swings and lovely focal points...truly a romantic mom after my own heart...

So her hubby and my hubby...troopers that they are...got to work sliding the playhouse several feet to the right...nestled into a shady spot at the edge of the woods...where it looks like it was destined to be all along! Now it's just awaiting woodland flowers and climbing vines...

What a great outdoor, INdoor play space that roomy house is. And with a porch, to boot. Envy-envy! I wanted a playhouse when I was little---was SURE we'd have one when WE had young'uns. But we had too much building to do otherwise--storage shed, horse barn, etc. Never even got to the screened porch designed for the south side of the house. Boo-hoo!!
