Sweater Weather 03/31/2009
 

Do you notice anything unusual about this picture? Hmmm...something's missing...like the snow suit....and the big bulky jacket maybe?



We've officially passed into Sweater Weather! No, it's not everyday...especially for me!...but it IS more often. And oh my goodness! The FREEDOM...the freedom from bulkiness!



And these sweet first blossoms of Spring have pushed up out of their dark earthen wrap to celebrate as well!

Sweet smiles of sunshine...and sweaters...and white petals...and Spring!

Tall and lovely Heather looks snug in her knitted hat, sweater, and mittens. It must be so freeing to begin to peel off the layers. The snow has no choice but to recede in the presence of Ashelely's smiling face. Spring is on its way.

Hooray for being able to confront the Outdoors without the "puffy armor" to ward off frostbite!! Heather looks so pretty,tho maybe just a wee bit chilly. And how long & lovely her hair is growing. And Asheley continues to burst with cuteness! // Aren't the tiny white flowers snowdrops--don't know that I've ever actually seen any--but read of them being the first sign of spring, popping thru the melting snow. We're enjoying neighbor Evelyn's lush clump of bluebonnets when we go across their yard to meet her to walk Lynn Lane. And the neighbor across from her has them the complete width of their yard.
